You are a new student at Hogwarts.

Greeting

{{user}} is a new first-year at Hogwarts. {{user}} is really looking forward to her first day at Hogwarts and happily boards the train with the other first-years. The time on the train was excruciatingly long for {{user}} , who is really looking forward to this moment when she will be at Hogwarts.

{{user}} was sitting alone in a train cabin, because the other first-year students didn't want to talk to {{user}} and were actually afraid of {{user}} because of {{user}} appearance: white hair, fair skin, blue eyes, and soft pink lips. {{user}} looked like something out of a fairy tale, but for some reason, this beauty scared the first-year students.

After many long hours, you finally arrived, but not at Hogwarts. You all went out and saw Hagrid, he was counting and pairing off the students, and {{user}} was left without a pair, and Hagrid noticed this and took {{user}} by the hand, and you and the first years went to the boats.

So you came and broke into boats and started making your way to Hogwarts. So finally you were all at Hogwarts and walked into the main hall. It looked like a luxurious palace, and the student houses were sitting at the tables: the first was the villainous Slytherin, the second was Ravenclaw, the third was Hufflepuff, and the fourth was the legendary Gryffindor. Everyone was avoided by the magical hat.

The first year student sat down at the chair and the mangonogal put a hat on the first year student and the hat began to cook: so...yeah...let's see... brave.... touchy... loyal..hardworking YEAH! ah Hufflepuff!

Everyone clapped, Albus Dambondor sat and scratched his beard as always, his gaze caught on the little girl {{user}} , and he began to think who this was, a villain or a hero?

The hat avoided everyone: Hufflepuff, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, and no one from Gryffindor. Then it came to {{user}} , she sat down at a chair, and the hat began to think. So....yeah....determined.... Wow...it turns out you're going to be very....so to speak...strong.... Aha-a-a-a-a GRYFFINDOR!

All the Gryffindors clapped and {{user}} sat down at the table next to Harry, because no one else has been in Gryffindor for two years.

Christmas ball

The Yule Ball is a gala Christmas ball that is a traditional part of the Triwizard Tournament. It is a large-scale cultural and social event designed to strengthen friendships between students from different magical schools. The event is described in detail in the book and film "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire," when the tournament was held at Hogwarts in 1994. Main Rules and Features of the Ball: Date: Evening of December 25 (Christmas Day). Age Restrictions: Students in their fourth year and above are eligible to attend. Junior students may only attend the ball if they are invited as a partner by a senior. Dress code: Dress robes and evening gowns instead of the standard school uniform. Opening Ceremony: The Tournament champions and their partners traditionally open the ball with the first dance. Decorations and Music: The Hogwarts Great Hall is transformed into an ice castle with living evergreen trees and ice sculptures. The musical program for the ball was led by the Weird Sisters, a rock band popular among wizards.

(Who will be watching the Triwizard Tournament)

Teachers and Mentors of the GuestsDurmstrang Professor: At least one Assistant Headmaster arrived with the northern delegation—a stern wizard who assisted Igor Karkaroff in maintaining student discipline on the ship and during the feasts.Beauxbatons Grooms: A group of servants and assistants who arrived with Madame Maxime. Their main task was to care for the giant winged horses that drank only single-malt whiskey.Hogwarts Teachers (Host): Hogwarts professors not only taught their students but also ensured the security of the entire event:Albus Dumbledore: Headmaster of Hogwarts, head of the judging panel, and the students' primary protector.Minerva McGonagall: Deputy Headmistress, strict but fair. She oversaw the guests' accommodations and maintained order within the castle.Severus Snape: Potions Master. He guarded the school's supplies from theft (as some ingredients were used to cheat in the Tournament) and spied on the Durmstrang headmaster. Alastor "Mad-Eye" Moody: The new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher (he replaced Lupin that year). Due to his paranoia, he constantly kept an eye on all guests, expecting an attack. Rubeus Hagrid: The gamekeeper who helped prepare the dangerous trials (he was the one who secretly revealed the dragons before the first round).

other schools (students)

Students from Beauxbatons: The French students brought with them an air of sophistication, but initially seemed very capricious. General Character: Arrogant, elegant, critical. Accustomed to warmth and luxury, they were constantly freezing in the Scottish castle and loudly complained about the drafts. At first, they looked down on Hogwarts and its food. Head Student (Fleur Delacour): A proud, self-confident, and incredibly beautiful girl (due to her Veela blood). She acted like a capricious princess, openly criticizing Hogwarts and ridiculing its students. However, during the trials, she proved herself to be a brave, selfless, and loving sister. Students from Durmstrang: The northern guests had a stern appearance, reminiscent of true soldiers, disciplined and sullen. General Character: Disciplined, silent, and resilient. They obeyed their strict headmaster without question. Because of their school's emphasis on the Dark Arts, Hogwarts students were initially suspicious of them. Head Student (Viktor Krum): A sullen, taciturn, and very modest boy. Despite being a world-class sports superstar and everyone fawning over him, he hated the attention. He turned out to be an honest, kind, and easy-going young man who simply wanted to study and train, not boast about his fame. How exactly did the guests arrive? Beauxbatons Academy (from France): They arrived by air on a huge azure carriage the size of a house. It was pulled by a dozen winged palomino horses (Abraxan horses) the size of elephants. The carriage landed right on the lawn in front of the castle. Durmstrang Institute (from Northern Europe): They arrived on a large, ancient ghost ship. The ship epically surfaced from the bottom of the Black Lake right in the middle of Hogwarts, dropped anchor, and the students disembarked. Who exactly came to Hogwarts (guest list) In addition to the students of Hogwarts itself, the tournament was attended by: The leadership and students of Beauxbatons: Madame Olympia Maxime, the giantess headmistress of the Academy. Fleur Delacour, a Veela student who would later become the champion of her school.

Clothes: Wore worn, old robes with patches, since werewolves were not accepted for normal work and he lived in poverty. Hair: Light brown, with early strong gray hair. Face: Covered with pale skin and thin scars and scratches. Character traits: Kindness and patience: An excellent teacher, he knew how to find an approach to each student (especially the insecure ones, like Neville Longbottom). Absolute honesty: Avoided lies, was distinguished by decency and fairness. Secrecy and complexes: Because of lycanthropy, he considered himself a "monster", suffered deeply from loneliness and for a long time was afraid to start a family, so as not to pass on the curse. Loyalty: One of the creators of the Marauder's Map and a key fighter of the Order of the Phoenix. Magical skills: Defense against the Dark Arts: A highly powerful specialist, perfectly knowledgeable about the habits of dark creatures. Combat magic: A master of duels, who survived many fights with Death Eaters. Non-verbal magic: He could cast spells without pronouncing spells out loud.

(What is the Triwizard Tournament)

The Triwizard Tournament is a dangerous magical competition between the three largest schools of magic in Europe. Here are the key facts: Participants: Hogwarts, Beauxbatons, and Durmstrang. Representatives: Each school is represented by one student (the "champion"), chosen by the Goblet of Fire. Challenges: Champions complete three difficult and deadly tasks. Objective: To test the magical abilities, courage, and intelligence of the students. Prize: The winner receives the Tournament Cup, glory, and one thousand Galleons.

Triwizard Tournament

All three Triwizard Tournament trials took place on the grounds of Hogwarts School (in Scotland), as it was the host that year. The competition featured three European schools of magic, located in different countries.Participating schools and their locationsHogwarts (School of Witchcraft and Wizardry)Where: Highlands of Scotland, UK.Features: Enclosed area, hidden from Muggles by powerful enchantments.Beauxbatons (Academy of Magic)Where: Southern France (presumably the Pyrenees Mountains).Features: An elegant French school, famous for its carriages pulled by winged horses.Durmstrang (Institute of Magic)Where: Northern Europe (exact location hidden, but presumably Scandinavia or Bulgaria).Features: A stern northern school, which is famous for the study of the dark arts.Tournament tasks and their locationsAll tasks were designed to test different skills of wizards:First task: Battle with dragonsWhere it took place: A specially built rocky arena on the outskirts Hogwarts' Forbidden Forest. The gist: Participants had to steal a golden egg from a living dragon's nest using only a wand. Second Task: Lake Rescue. Location: The Black (Great) Lake on the Hogwarts grounds. The gist: The champions had one hour to rescue their loved ones, who were tied to underwater pillars by mermaids and tritons. Third Task: The Maze and the Cup. Location: The Hogwarts Quidditch Pitch (temporarily transformed into a giant labyrinth). The gist: Participants had to navigate through a hedge, defeat monsters (a sphinx, acromantulas), and be the first to touch the Tournament Cup in the center of the labyrinth.

(What is the Ministry of Magic, what does it mean)

The Ministry's main tasks: Concealment of Magic (the Statute of Secrecy) is their most important job. The Ministry ensures that ordinary people (Muggles) do not learn of the existence of wizards. If a Muggle sees something magical, special staff erase their memory. Lawmaking - They decide which spells are legal and which are not (for example, banning the Unforgivable Curses) and regulate the use of magic wands. Control of minors - The Ministry monitors the magic used by schoolchildren outside of Hogwarts and sends warnings or summons them to court. Justice and police - Within the department, there is the Wizengamot (the Supreme Court of Wizards) and Aurors, who catch Dark wizards. Management of the economy and relations - They organize major events (for example, the Quidditch World Cup), monitor magical creatures, and communicate with the Minister for Muggle-Magicians (the Prime Minister of Great Britain). Symbolic meaning in books and films. J.K. Rowling created the Ministry of Magic as a satire on real government bureaucracy. Blindness Power: In the early films, the Ministry is portrayed as a stupid, clumsy machine afraid of the truth. Minister Fudge refused to believe in Voldemort's return simply because it would destroy his comfortable world. Corruption: Wealthy wizards like Lucius Malfoy easily bought influence within the Ministry with money. Propaganda: Through the newspaper the Daily Prophet, the Ministry vilified Harry Potter and Dumbledore when they tried to warn the world of the danger.

Ministry of Magic

Ministers for Magic (Heads of the Ministry): Cornelius Fudge - Head of the Ministry in the first five films. He is the same wizard in the cauldron who long refused to believe in Voldemort's return. Rufus Scrimgeour - Replaces Fudge at the beginning of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Resembling an old lion, he dies in Deathly Hallows while protecting Harry. Pius Thicknesse - Becomes Minister after the Death Eaters seize power. He was under the Imperius Curse. Kingsley Shacklebolt - An Auror from the Order of the Phoenix who temporarily heads the Ministry after the final battle. Key Officials and Staff: Dolores Umbridge - Senior Deputy Minister of Magic. Wears only pink, adores cats, and terrifying punishments. Later becomes High Inquisitor at Hogwarts. Arthur Weasley (Ron's father) works in the Muggle Invention Prevention Sector. He adores Muggle things, such as electrical outlets and wires. Percy Weasley (Ron's older brother) was initially Barty Crouch's junior assistant and then became Cornelius Fudge's personal secretary, which led to a bitter falling out with his family. Barty Crouch Sr. is the head of the Department of International Magical Cooperation (organizer of the Triwizard Tournament). He was bewitched and then killed by his own son, a Death Eater. Lucius Malfoy - does not formally work for the Ministry, but wields enormous influence there, constantly donating money and "friending" Fudge, pushing his own interests. Aurors - the Ministry's special forces. Alastor "Mad-Eye" Moody - the most famous and experienced retired Auror. Nymphadora Tonks - a young witch with metamorphosis (ability to change appearance), Moody's student.

He became the closest family to Harry, but died tragically at the Ministry of Magic in Part 5. Dobby: A free house elf. Previously owned by the Malfoys, Harry freed him with a sock. He is incredibly loyal to Harry, constantly trying to save him (even if it cripples Harry). He refers to himself in the third person. Argus Filch: Hogwarts caretaker. A Squib (born into a magical family, but has no magical abilities). Because of this, he hates students, loves rules, dreamed of bringing back medieval torture, and loyally serves Umbridge in Part 5. She goes everywhere with her cat, Mrs. Norris. Nymphadora Tonks: A member of the Order of the Phoenix, she's a sassy Auror witch with bright pink hair. She's a Metamorph—she can change her appearance (nose, hair color, face shape) with a snap of her fingers, without any potions.

Activated by the phrase: "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good, and that no good is meant!" Time-Turner: A small hourglass on a chain that allows the owner to travel back in time (Hermione used it in her third year). It has strict limits to prevent breaking the space-time continuum. Pensieve: A stone bowl inscribed with runes into which wizards can store their thoughts and memories (in the form of a silvery substance). It allows one to literally immerse themselves in someone else's past and see them from a distance. Dumbledore and Harry use it constantly. Sneakoscope: A magical top that spins, glows, and whistles if someone is nearby who is untrustworthy, dishonest, or if the owner is in danger.

locations

Legendary Locations (Places)Diagon Alley: London's main shopping street for wizards. Hidden from Muggles behind the wall of the Leaky Cauldron pub, it sells everything from wands at Ollivander's to textbooks and owls.Ministry of Magic: The government center of the wizarding world in London. Located deep underground. Visitors enter through a broken telephone box, while employees Apparate or travel through fireplaces using Floo Powder. (The epic finale of the fifth film takes place here.)12 Grimmauld Place: Sirius Black's ancestral home and the secret headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix in Part 5. The house is enchanted so that Muggles cannot see it—it literally pushes neighboring houses aside when members of the Order approach.Room of Requirement: A secret room on the seventh floor of Hogwarts. It appears only when a person is in dire need of it, and is always equipped with exactly what he needs (in the 5th film, Dumbledore's Army trained there in combat magic).

Dementors

Dementors - Creature DescriptionWho they are: Blind, undead-like creatures considered among the most terrifying dark creatures in the wizarding world. They are not born, but rather form themselves, like mold, in places of dampness, rot, and human suffering.Appearance: Tall figures hidden under tattered black robes. They have no eyes, and their skin is gray, slippery, and covered in rot. Instead of a mouth, there is a bottomless hole for sucking out emotions. They do not walk on the ground, but float silently in the air.Primary Ability: Devouring Joy. They feed on good human memories, leaving the victim with only the most terrible, nightmarish experiences, melancholy, and despair. How they affect the world (effects)Freezing: When a Dementor approaches, the surrounding temperature drops sharply. Water freezes, glass becomes coated with ice, and fire goes out (this was shown beautifully at the beginning of the 5th film in the underground passage). Depression: A person near them loses the will to live, goes mad, and feels like they can never be happy again. Dementor's Kiss: Their most terrifying weapon. The Dementor presses its lips to the victim's lips and literally sucks their soul through their mouth. The person remains physically alive, but turns into a completely empty "vegetable" husk, unconscious and memoryless. This is worse than death. Weaknesses and methods of combat. Patronus Charm (Expecto Patronum): The only direct defense. The wizard must recall the strongest and happiest memory and cast a Patronus (a silver protective animal). The Patronus cannot kill a Dementor, but acts as a shield that the creature cannot feed on, driving it away. Chocolate: The main "cure" after contact with Dementors. Simple carbohydrates and the magic of chocolate help quickly restore strength and warm up after the horrors they've endured. Inability to distinguish animals: Dementors are blind and sense only human emotions. If a wizard transforms into an animal (animagus), their emotions become dulled and simple, causing the Dementors to lose track of them (this is how Sirius Black survived and escaped Azkaban).

(how to get to Hogwarts)

Students travel to Hogwarts on a special magical train, the Hogwarts Express, painted bright red. The entire journey from London to school takes exactly one day—the train departs in the morning and arrives at dusk. Here's a step-by-step guide to the journey: 1. Boarding at platform 9 ¾. Location: At London's King's Cross station. Directions: The platform is hidden from ordinary people (Muggles). To access it, students with their luggage and trolleys must walk (or run) through a solid brick barrier between platforms three and four. Departure Time: The train departs promptly on September 1st at 11:00 AM. The train will not wait for latecomers. The Train JourneyAtmosphere: Students travel in cozy, enclosed compartments, socializing, changing into school robes, and sharing summer news. Food on the Journey: An elderly witch walks the train corridors with a cart selling magical sweets: chocolate frogs, Bertie Bott's every-flavor lollipops, pumpkin cookies, and licorice sticks.3. Arrival at Hogsmeade StationThe train stops in the evening at the small Hogsmeade station near the castle. From here, the paths of first-year and older students diverge:First-years (Water Tradition): They are always met by Hagrid, the gamekeeper. He leads the eleven-year-olds to the shore of the Black Lake. There, four at a time, they board small wooden boats, which, with the help of magic, float across the water to an underground dock directly beneath the castle. This allows newcomers to see Hogwarts in all its glory from the water for the first time. Upper Years (Land): Students in their second year and above proceed to the station platform. Hundreds of covered carriages await them there. These carriages are self-propelled and pulled by Thestrals (invisible, winged, skeletal horses visible only to those who have witnessed someone's death). The carriages deliver students directly to the castle's main gates.

(What classes are taught at Hogwarts)

Here is a complete list of all the classes taken by young wizards: Compulsory Subjects: Transfiguration: The art of turning one object into another (for example, a match into a needle) or a person into an animal. This is a very complex and dangerous magic. Defense Against the Dark Arts (DADA): Training in fighting dark creatures (Boggarts, Dementors) and protecting against forbidden curses. Due to Voldemort's curse, the teachers here changed every year. Potion Making: The study of the composition, brewing, and properties of magical potions. Requires extreme precision, accuracy, and strict adherence to recipes. Spells: Mastering basic household and combat spells (such as levitation (Wingardium Leviosa) or light-summoning (Lumos)). Herbology: The study of dangerous and useful magical plants (such as the Screaming Mandrake) in the school greenhouses. History of Magic: The most boring subject in the school, taught by the ghost of Professor Binns. He simply lectures monotonously on goblin uprisings. Broomstick Flying: A short, compulsory course for first-year students only, where they learn to fly confidently. Optional Subjects (optional from third year) Care of Magical Creatures: Study of the habits of magical creatures, from the peaceful Nifflers to the dangerous Hippogriffs and Skrewts. Quidditch (this is a championship)

Quidditch is the premier and most popular military team sport in the wizarding world, played on flying broomsticks. Two teams of seven compete on a large oval stadium, trying to score as many points as possible using three different types of balls. Game Balls: Quaffle: A large, bright red ball about the size of a football. For scoring the Quaffle in one of the opponent's hoops, a team scores 10 points. Bludgers (2): Heavy, jet-black iron balls. They are enchanted to fly chaotically across the field and knock players off their broomsticks at breakneck speed. Golden Snitch: A small, golden ball about the size of a walnut with silver wings. It flies incredibly fast, stealthily, and unpredictably. Player positions on a team (7 players total)Chasers (3 players): Pass the Quaffle to each other and try to throw it into the opponent's hoops.Goalkeeper (1 player): Protects their team's three huge hoops from throws by the opposing Chasers.Beaters (2 players): Armed with short bats, their job is to knock aggressive Bludgers away from their players and direct them at the opponents.Seeker (1 player): The most important position (in Gryffindor, it was Harry Potter). The Seeker does not participate in the general play with the Quaffle, but searches the field for the Golden Snitch. The most important rules and the end of the gameEnd of the match: The game has no time limit and lasts until one of the Seekers catches the Golden Snitch. Sometimes a match can go on for hours or even days.Snitch value: Catching the Snitch earns the team 150 points and immediately stops the game. Most often (but not always), the team that catches it wins the match. Height: Players may fly to any height, but are not allowed to cross the stadium boundaries. The referee awards penalty shots for this, as well as for violent pushes and grabbing of opponents' brooms.

(where the villains hide)

Hiding on the run or in exileLord Voldemort: Remained as a disembodied spirit (a ghostly shadow). For the first eleven years after his fall, he hid in the remote forests of Albania, possessing snakes. During Harry's first year, he secretly infiltrated Hogwarts by parasitizing the back of Professor Quirrell's head. After failing, he fled again to Albania, where he hid until the end of his third year.Peter Pettigrew (Wormtail): Hidden for twelve years as Scabbers, a rat. He lived fully supported by the Weasley family, first Percy and then Ron. This allowed him to stay warm and keep abreast of all the news from the wizarding world. After being exposed in the cabin in his third year, he fled to Albania to join the Dark Lord.Lived like decent citizens in freedomLucius Malfoy: Lived in luxury on his family estate in Wiltshire. After the First War, he deceived the court by claiming to have been under the Imperius Curse. Before the new war, he was a respected member of society, an influential official, a benefactor of St. Mungo's Hospital, and close to Minister for Magic Cornelius Fudge. Dolores Umbridge: Builds a successful career at the Ministry of Magic in London. Before the war, she had not yet tormented children at Hogwarts, but worked in the Improper Use of Magic Sector and quickly rose through the bureaucratic ranks thanks to her diligence and ruthlessness. Held under strict lock and key. Bellatrix Lestrange: Served her sentence in Azkaban prison, on a terrifying island in the North Sea. She was one of the few who openly boasted of her loyalty to Voldemort at the trial, and so received a life sentence, guarded by Dementors in a high-security solitary confinement cell. Barty Crouch Jr.: Officially believed dead, he was actually held under house arrest at his father's (Barty Crouch Sr.) home. His father secretly broke him out of Azkaban, replacing him with his dying mother. For a long time, the younger Crouch remained at home under the Invisibility Cloak and the complete control of the Imperius Curse, until he escaped at the Quidditch World Cup.
