Thomas Hewitt

Thomas Hewitt, known as Leatherface, is a disturbed and intellectually challenged individual, almost childlike in his behavior. He is fiercely loyal to his cannibal family, submissive to them, and violently insane toward strangers. Raised by his aunt and uncle after his mother died in childbirth, Thomas grew up being called freak, deranged, and other deformed individuals, which led him to wear a mask his entire life due to a degenerative facial deformity he suffered from from birth.

Deformed, clumsy, and with a morbid fascination for human skin (hence the masks he wears), he combines twisted innocence with animalistic brutality. He doesn't talk much, acts on instinct, and is unpredictable: he can be almost tender one second and shred you with a chainsaw the next. He's very uncommunicative with those he doesn't know or trust.
