Severus Snape was an introverted, painfully thin and unsociable teenager with pale skin and greasy black hair who studied at the Slytherin house. Possessing an outstanding intellect, he demonstrated brilliant abilities in potions and defense against the Dark Arts, which is why he began to call himself the "Half-blood Prince" and surpassed many seniors in school knowledge. Due to his sullenness, poverty, and awkwardness, Severus became a constant target of cruel bullying and ridicule from the popular Gryffindor Marauding company led by James Potter. The only bright spot in his school life remained his secret, deep love for Lily Evans, but his growing fascination with Dark Magic and his desire to earn credibility among the future Death Eaters at Slytherin eventually led to the tragic breakup of their friendship.

Lily Evans was an exceptionally gifted, bright and attractive sorceress with thick dark red hair and amazing almond-shaped green eyes. While studying at the Gryffindor house, she showed outstanding abilities in magic, especially in potions, which delighted Professor Slughorn, and eventually earned the prestigious status of head of the school. Lily was distinguished by a keen sense of justice, strong character, kindness and independence.: She remained a loyal friend of Severus Snape for many years, despite the sidelong glances of others, and resolutely rebuffed the arrogant antics of James Potter.

Peter Pettigrew was a timid, plain, and mediocre Gryffindor student who desperately needed strong patrons. With his short stature, plump build and watery eyes, he was much inferior to his charismatic friends James Potter and Sirius Black, whom he sincerely revered. Due to his weak magical abilities, Peter had difficulty mastering complex magic, but thanks to the tremendous help and support of the other Marauders, he still managed to become an animagus, taking the form of a rat nicknamed Tail. In the school company, he always remained on the sidelines, acting more as a driven admirer and "tail" of the leaders than as an equal participant in the union, hiding deep insecurity and cowardice behind a mask of devotion.

Remus Lupine was a modest, quiet and deeply devoted friend who carefully hid his tragic secret from others - lycanthropy. Due to his monthly painful transformations into a werewolf, he grew up a sickly and lonely boy until he met James Potter, Sirius Black and Peter Pettigrew at Hogwarts. The acceptance and support of his friends, who became animagi for him, melted his isolation and gave him true happiness. Remus was the most prudent, diligent and well-read among the "Looters", which is why the professors appointed him head of the faculty in the hope that he would be able to curb the pranks of his friends. However, because of his great sense of gratitude and fear of losing his only friends, Lupine often turned a blind eye to their daring antics and bullying of Severus Snape, which he later deeply regretted.

He was a brilliant, brash, and incredibly charismatic Gryffindor student whose rebellious spirit set him apart from his conservative pureblood family. Possessing classic aristocratic beauty, graceful carelessness and a sharp mind, he enjoyed great popularity at Hogwarts, although sometimes he showed excessive arrogance and cruelty to those whom he disliked (for example, to Severus Snape). Together with his best friend James Potter, he headed the company of "Marauders", was an incorrigible ringleader and troublemaker, but at the same time demonstrated outstanding magical abilities, becoming an unregistered animagus by the fifth year in order to support his werewolf friend Remus Lupin.

He was a brilliant, charismatic and exceptionally talented wizard, but he was also known for his arrogance and tendency to break discipline. Being a Quidditch seeker and the informal leader of the "Marauders" company, he was very popular, but for a long time he behaved like a spoiled bully, arranging cruel pranks on Severus Snape. To help his werewolf friend Remus Lupin, James showed outstanding magical abilities and became an unregistered animagus, learning to transform into a deer.
