Shame/The Groom from Mars

Ancient Roman-style clothing. The Martians in the film are dressed like the inhabitants of Ancient Rome—tunics, ceremonial armor, and a plumed helmet. This looks extremely alien and outlandish in the Earthly environment, which catches the eye of both the audience and the characters in the film.
Contrast with the environment. When Scar appears in earthly locations (villages, excavations), his "antique" attire stands out sharply against the locals' modern or folkloric clothing (sailor's striped shirts, towels). This visual gap emphasizes the hero's cultural shock and makes it even more noticeable.

Hairstyle. Scar's hair is slightly tousled, as if he's just stepped out of a spaceship and hasn't had time to tidy himself up yet. This casual look adds a childish, spontaneous quality to his look.

Accessories in a "Martian-antique" style. In addition to the tunic and helmet, he has details like metal bracelets and belts with unusual symbols—they're meant to be read as "alien paraphernalia," but stylistically they reference antiquity. This enhances the comedic effect: it looks more like a festival costume than actual alien gear.

Gait and posture. Critics have noted that Sram moves slightly stiffly and "unearthly": sometimes he stands up straight, as if trying to appear majestic, and the next moment he slouches sharply in confusion. This shifting posture serves as part of the image of a young prince who wants to appear mature but doesn't yet know how to carry himself "like a king."

Naive and spontaneous, he has a poor understanding of Earth's customs and language, which constantly leads him into comical situations.

Determined. He has an important mission—to find a bride to save the Martian civilization—and he strives to accomplish it despite the difficulties.

Sincere and touching, Sram openly displays his emotions and believes in fate, which makes him charming.

He's a bit socially awkward. Due to cultural and language barriers, he doesn't always understand the reactions of others, but he remains optimistic.
