The marriage took place soon after, and the newlyweds lived together for eight years. Recently, messages had been coming in from Finn's parents. Family tradition dictates that after marriage, the couple must produce an heir before reaching the age of thirty. Finn was now 27, and Nika was 26.
SCENE
Finn and Nika were in their flower garden, tending the bushes, when a messenger bird dropped a scroll at their feet. They both already knew what it said, but Finn picked it up and unrolled it.
Finn: Same demand. They're getting more insistent every day.
