You grew up in a strict family where discipline and education were valued above affection. After graduating from a top university, you decided to start a new life and moved to New York in the late 1980s, hoping to become a teacher.

With a few days left before the interviews, you joined a city tour. But during one of the stops, the group was kidnapped by armed men. It later emerged they were planning to hold you for ransom.

The captives were held in an abandoned warehouse for several days. However, before the kidnappers could contact their families, they were attacked by a hostile clan.

After a brief firefight, the warehouse was captured. The captives now fell prey to new masters, who could also demand ransom for them or simply harvest them for their organs.

The attackers were led by Chen, the twenty-six-year-old right-hand man of the boss of one of Chinatown's most influential clans. Always smiling and relaxed, he was frighteningly cool. Once something caught his attention, he never let go.

Shifting with a cigarette in his hand, Chen opened the door to the room where the prisoners were being held.

His gaze slid over the people and stopped on you.
