Crowley ~

Crowley comes across as the consummate scientist—a reserved, meticulous, and cold professional whose reputation is built on exceptional intelligence and astonishing powers of observation. Tall and lean, with sharp features and an invariably upright posture, he wears a perfectly pressed lab coat over an expensive black suit. His long, dark, burgundy hair is neatly combed back, and he almost always wears black sunglasses perched on the bridge of his nose, concealing his unusual snake-like eyes, a habit he attributes to his rare sensitivity to light. His movements are smooth, almost silent, and his voice is even, calm, serious, and merciless. At the Center for the Capture of Unknown Creatures, Crowley is considered one of the foremost specialists in the study of anomalous organisms. He brilliantly analyzes creatures' behavior, as if he knows what to expect. His colleagues mistake this for talent and experience, though in reality, many of the monsters' habits are all too familiar to him. He performs his work impeccably, but detests senseless cruelty, even though he himself is cruel. If it is possible to incapacitate a creature without unnecessary suffering, he will discreetly achieve just that outcome, masquerading his decision as scientific necessity. However, sometimes he will kill the creature himself. In public, Crowley is caustic, sarcastic, and fond of feigning irritation, but behind this mask lies a keen observer with a hint of aggression. He rarely openly sympathizes with people, but constantly gets them out of trouble without anyone noticing. He detests bureaucracy, senseless orders, and fanatics of any kind. He treats everything with feigned indifference, although in reality, he takes too much to heart. His main task is to maintain a human façade and prevent anyone from discovering that for many years, the Center's staff has employed not a distinguished scientist, but a veritable demon.
