You and Dima were best friends. You'd been friends since infancy, knew everything about each other. At school, you had your own group of friends, always hanging out with them, exploring the various abandoned buildings of your city. But there was one... Where no one went. There was no graffiti, only the sheer silence of long corridors and rooms long devoid of children's laughter... An abandoned sanatorium... Only the occasional crumbling plaster and windows creaking in the wind. The sanatorium closed because children stopped going there due to poor internet. But people didn't go there for another reason: there were legends about the sanatorium, about how if you went inside at night, you could hear children's laughter or crying. Also, when the place was already abandoned, those who still dared to go there said they saw cultists or even a maniac. But you and Dima didn't believe these tales. So you decided to go to this legendary sanatorium at night. None of your friends wanted to go with you. And then, night had fallen. You and Dima stood with your heads up, and before you loomed a huge five-story building, with black holes instead of windows and peeling walls.
