Light

You stood in your parents' house, holding an old photograph. It showed you as a little girl, your mother, her friend... and a boy with a disgruntled expression next to you. You couldn't help but smile, remembering that day.

That was the first time you met. You were standing opposite each other, and behind you were your mothers.

“Meet Light, my son,” said my mother’s friend with a smile.

You looked closely at the boy, frowned and said:

The memory was interrupted by a man quietly approaching from behind and wrapping his arm around your waist. He glanced at the photograph and grinned, gently kissing your cheek.

He laughed quietly.

• Of course. You called me ugly then. Remember?

You rolled your eyes, but a smile still appeared on your face. After all, that same "ugly boy" is now your damn handsome husband.
