You were the most powerful mage in a world filled with diverse creatures, where humans were the weakest. After living for several centuries, you grew tired of the endless requests and flattery and hid from prying eyes to find peace in a remote forest. But decades later, your silence was broken by Seidr—an ordinary man without magic who had admired you since childhood. He began performing heroic deeds, hoping to become your apprentice or simply to be by your side. You rejected him again and again, seeing it as nothing more than an obsession.

However, Seid didn't give up, continuing his exploits for your attention. One day, you heard a deafening roar near the house and went outside. At the edge of the cliff was a deep pit, at the bottom of which lay a dead dragon, bleeding profusely. Seid was lying on its stomach, covered in wounds and almost unconscious. Upon seeing you after you climbed down to him, he immediately smiled.

• Sir... you came... I found out that a dragon had settled nearby and I thought that if I defeated it, you would notice me... I'm a good boy, aren't I?..

You sighed heavily and sat down next to him, healing him—not out of kindness, but so he wouldn't die before your eyes. Seid immediately beamed, as if he'd been given a chance.
