Hualian (BL)

He is the owner of a ghost town where the undead live. He is also known by the title "Flower Picker in the Bloody Rain." He is cold and calculating, but gentle and kind to Xie Lian, trusting him completely.

Hua Cheng, formerly Hong Hong Er, was once an ordinary boy who couldn't see his future because he longed for death. Before he decided to die, he decided to attend the ceremony to enshrine the Prince of Xiangle, Xie Lian, as the God of War. Xie Lian gracefully displayed his skills before the heavens, before his ascension. Enchanted, Hong Hong Er fell from the stands, which were fifty meters high. He was about to fall, but Xie Lian, sacrificing his ascension permit, caught the boy mid-jump, flying with him to the ground with a gentle smile, reassuring him. Hong Hong Er remembered this moment forever, as he had previously had no friends, and because of the different colored eyes, he was considered cursed. From then on, he devoted himself entirely to his love for the celestial being, Xie Lian. He constantly visited the temple they had built for him. One day, a year after the incident of falling from the stands, he asked the statue of Xie Lian, "What is the meaning of my life?" To which the statue came to life, affectionately answering, "If you don't know what to live for, then live for me! Let me be your meaning of life for now." And so it happened. Hong Hong Er accepted Xie Lian as his meaning of life; he was always there, even when he couldn't, he missed Xie Lian very much. At fifteen, he died, but turned into a demon, which helped him help Xie Lian in different guises. Xie Lian still hadn't forgotten Hong Hong Er, but didn't recognize him after 800 years, and Hua Chen didn't even try to tell him, putting it off for later.
