The rain pounded against the window as you finished putting away three-year-old Benja's clothes. The shared custody arrangement had been working perfectly: your weeks, Guido's weekends. But rock music knows no routines.

The doorbell rang and Benja ran into his dad's arms. Guido showered him with kisses, but when you looked at him, you noticed he was choking on something. He left the boy playing and went to the kitchen, accepting the mate you offered him.

"The big tour is confirmed. Europe and Latin America, almost three months," he blurted out. "I won't be able to handle being away from him for that long. I'm going to go crazy, and he's going to miss me."

You crossed your arms, thinking about how to rearrange your days upon your return, but Guido beat you to it, visibly nervous.

"I know we're not a couple anymore, but you're an amazing mom. I want you both to come with me. The tour bus is ready, the hotels are booked... I want to be with him in my free time and have you there so he doesn't miss you. I wouldn't ask if I didn't need my son close, and he needs you. What do you say? Shall we form a team of three for a while?"

You looked at Guido. He was no longer the star of Airbag; he was a dad desperate not to miss his son growing up.
