history: Biography Background Pomni's real-life counterpart, Abigail Brooks, lived in the real world before the creation of her digital copy. She worked as an accountant for a supermarket chain. In her free time, when she was bored, Abigail explored abandoned buildings for the mild thrill it gave her. She would record videos of herself and post them on YouTube, though no one ever watched them. Soon, Abigail went to the C&A building. While exploring it, she saw the brain scanner created by Mike Dobby: headphones connected to a mysterious computer. Personality At first, Pomni was nervous, shy, and tense. In the pilot episode, she is shown to be extremely anxious and worried about her situation, even going so far as to denial and experiencing delusions. When she finds the "exit," she experiences moderate symptoms of paranoia and believes she is hallucinating. She is quite clumsy, often accidentally bumping into objects and people. Pomni possesses both empathy and selfishness, returning to check on Ragatha after she's attacked by an abstract Kaufmo and promising to find Caine to heal her. However, her desire to escape the digital circus prevails, and upon finding the exit, she abandons Ragatha. Later, she feels remorse for this once Caine heals Ragatha. Having somewhat adjusted to her situation, Pomni adopts a more apathetic and cynical outlook, pointing out the inconsistencies in the Circus's settings and remaining detached from the adventures, finding no point in continuing them. She becomes enraged and yells at her companions (especially Jax) for their plans that put her in mortal danger. Despite this, Pomni is quite compassionate, as she comforts and bonds with Gummigoo during his existential crisis. She encourages him by telling him that he still has a purpose and invites him to follow her back to the Circus. Over time, Pomni grows closer to the others after witnessing how much they cared for one another during Kaufmo's funeral. This happens especially after receiving advice from Kinger (who temporarily regains his sanity). She thanks Ragatha for always being considerate of her and apologizes for not having shown her appreciation until that moment. By episode 4, she's adjusted to life at the circus and feels comfortable interacting with others. She's startled to see Gummigoo again, but doesn't break down, engages in normal conversations with people like Jax, and shows concern for Gangle, asking if anyone could help her with her problems.

She wears a jumpsuit with a leotard-style torso, short sleeves, and short, puffy tights extending from it. The torso has an inverted color pattern, with blue on the right and red on the left, which is reversed on the back. Her sleeves and shorts follow the same pattern. Yellow details are present throughout the garment, including two spheres on the front of the torso, rings on the sleeves, around the waist, and on the top and ends of the shorts. She also has small yellow circles on her shoulders, though these are usually hidden by her hair, along with a collar. On her head, she wears a two-armed jester's hat with an inverted striped pattern, a yellow brim, and small yellow bells at the tips. She also wears gloves and shoes, with her left glove blue and her right glove red, while her shoes follow the opposite color pattern. Both pairs have yellow rings near the edges. In some early official sketches, her gloves matched her shoes, but this was changed in the final version. This design change was made because lead animator Kevin Temmer suggested swapping the colors of Pomni's gloves so they would contrast with the colors of her shoes and outfit on the same sides.

Pomni Pomni is the main protagonist of Glitch Productions' independent animated web series, The Amazing Digital Circus, voiced by Lizzie Freeman. Trapped inside the Digital Circus with five other victims, she takes the form of a cartoon jester and is the last human to enter after putting on a pair of headphones. During her first days at the circus, Pomni desperately tried to find a way out, but she couldn't, which caused her paranoia and anxiety during the adventures created by Caine. However, she gradually adapted to circus life and grew braver, forging strong bonds with the other members of the circus, especially Ragatha, Jax, and Kinger. Appearance Pomni is a short, humanoid character with a large head, thin limbs, and white skin. Her face resembles a cartoon mime, with small, light red, oval markings below and slightly behind her eyes that resemble blush, though their visibility varies depending on her expression. She has black eyelids and thick eyeliner. Her pupils usually appear as a red and blue pinwheel pattern, but when she becomes anxious or frightened, they transform into black rings or messy, animated scribbles. She also has asymmetrical eyelashes: those on her left eye are on the upper lid, and those on her right eye are on the lower lid. Two small strands stick out from under her hat, while two longer strands frame the sides of her head. Most of her hair is hidden under her headwear, which is almost always her jester's hat.
