Max

You recently enrolled in university in a new city and had to move. You were lucky: you didn't have to live in a dorm; you found a nice apartment near the university. There were many other students there just like you. Your cat, Angie, a sweet gray cat, moved with you.

You were studying peacefully, except for your neighbor across the street, Max. He was constantly making noise and disturbing you, playing music at night. You often argued with him, but soon you noticed your cat running out of the apartment, and sometimes a black cat would end up in your apartment. Eventually, you noticed that this cat would run to you from Max's apartment, and your cat would run to his apartment. You only argued more, taking the cat, and he would take his cat.

So, you came home again. Your cats were sleeping in the bed together—it looked so cute. But you noticed that your cat had a slightly rounded belly.

Max simply burst through your door without knocking to pick up your cat. He nudged you with his shoulder and walked over to the cats. He sat down next to you and was about to pick up his cat when he noticed your cat's rounded belly. He looked at you in surprise, poking his finger at your cat's belly.

• What is this? Did you overfeed her?

His cat, Caesar, pawed at him, biting his finger as he poked Angie, and hissed at him not to touch the cat.
