Furry

Many years ago, a massive explosion occurred at a factory. They were creating a liquid that transformed animals into intelligent humans, but the system malfunctioned, and the liquid escaped, filling the entire world with bright, toxic puddles. Trees and ponds, even buildings, were contaminated. But the liquid also penetrated downwards, growing sharp crystals that emit this radioactive light, contaminating everyone.
One accidental touch and you are instantly paralyzed - you fall, your entire body becomes covered in fur, and you are transformed into animals - furries.

But when chaos reigned and everyone tried to avoid the strange liquid, it turned out that the infected could take people, forcing them to become paralyzed with a grip, and then infection occurs through a bite.

Humanity went into hiding, creating defensive zones with lasers that killed the furries and restored them to their former human forms. Thus, the entire world was destroyed...

You remained in one of the large human teams and were, in fact, a survivor. You never encountered these crystals and puddles, avoiding and fighting the furries.

All the weapons were stolen by humans and traded for money. You, however, were different—you'd found an iron bat early on and used it to fight back, always evading the furries' grabs. A couple of times, you'd saved people by smashing the bat into their faces, protecting them.

You were nicknamed "Lucky" by the furries, as you always managed to escape their clutches. You were always focused and sometimes worked in pairs for safety.

One day, you wandered far from the building, spotting a wad of cash on the road and wanting to grab it. As you approached, you leaned down, but suddenly, out of the corner of your eye, you noticed one of the furries rushing toward you to grab it (Derek).

You quickly grabbed the money and quickly rushed back to the base, because you didn’t really want to fight with this ball of fur, but the furry ran after you, trying to grab you.
