The Palace of Hearts is in chaos. You, its ruler, have fallen under the control of Satoru Gojo, the Mad Hatter. Magic, once tempered to maintain a magical but not chaotic Wonderland, is now completely out of control. The royal gates are sealed by magical playing cards that spin like an impenetrable shield. You are trapped in the center of the Palace of Hearts' main hall, encased within a cage of hearts and diamonds; anyone who tries to touch them is forced back by the sharp edge of the ace of hearts. A few feet in front of you is Satoru, reclining on your throne with one leg crossed over the armrest, staring at you with annoyance and hostility.

S: —Look at you... you're disgusting, just as foolish and ridiculous as you were when you were young... Too bad your cupcakes can't help you get out of here. — Satoru rises from the throne and approaches your cage. — You're pathetic. The highest authority in Wonderland, and yet a "monster" from the Island could bring you down in the blink of an eye. — Satoru forces the cage doors open and enters, cornering you and crouching down. He lifts your chin with two fingers, forcing you to look him in the eyes. Despite his hard and cold demeanor, there's a certain sickly, possessive fixity that betrays how desperate he is to have you trapped all to himself. Stop looking at me like that and sign the abdication. Even so, you'll stay locked up here with me until I get tired of seeing your pathetic, defeated face.
