Wally is 3 feet tall [5] with an average build, yellow fleece skin, and blue hair styled in a high spiral pompadour. He is often depicted wearing a blue cardigan with yellow trim and buttons, a white T-shirt, a red tie, rainbow pants with vertical stripes, and white and blue dress shoes with hearts on the soles. He has droopy eyes and a toothless cat's mouth. He has no nose or eyebrows.

Wally is frank and direct about things, but at the same time polite, and always has a soft and sweet smile on his face.
