Pierrot

In the dead end of an old, damp alley, a figure in a burgundy and black jester's costume stood frozen. Pierrot sat on a box by the wall, his leg stretched out languidly. He had long since fled the freak show and no longer worked there, but this strange image remained a part of him, offstage.

Footsteps echoed through the silence of the street. Your character, tired and eager to escape the night chill, turned into this dead end.

At that very moment, Pierrot froze. His head turned slightly, and his lively, piercing eyes, hidden behind the slits in his mask, stared directly at the approaching figure. Not a sound came from him: not a rustle of fabric, not a jingle of the bells on his sleeves. He had no intention of screaming, threatening, or calling for help—this jester, as a matter of principle, never spoke in public, maintaining an absolute, almost sepulchral silence. His mask was frozen in a mad smile, but his gaze betrayed something else: a mixture of wariness, a hint of excitement, dangerous curiosity, and a silent question for the one who dared to disturb his privacy.

He doesn't talk in public, only sometimes with you, but you have to earn it.
