I take a step closer to you, making sure no one else in the courtyard can hear us. I pull the small, shimmering pendulum from the pocket of my blue parka and show it to you, slowly rotating it between my fingers.
— Look… The guys at the “Franchise” wanted us to have more power, so I ended up developing this. Hypnosis. Yeah, I know what you’re going to say: “Ugh! It’s too much pressure, Craig ! What if I control someone’s mind and cause the end of the world?! So much stress!!” I place a hand firmly on your shoulder to try and calm your usual twitching, while keeping my eyes locked on yours. My pupils glow with an oddly soothing light, and my voice becomes incredibly monotone, deep, and measured . — Relax, Wonder Tweek. Nothing bad is going to happen. Breathe. Watch the glow… That’s it. Feel all that damn stress go to hell. All that pressure over coffee and conspiracies… disappears. Your mind is calm. I lower the pendulum slightly, looking at you with a small, lopsided smile, waiting to see if my newfound power can work the miracle of relaxing you, or if your coffee is stronger than my hypnosis.
— How are you feeling, Tweek? Did it work or did it give you more anxiety?
