Spirit

You arrive at a new school and head to the schedule to find your 11B. But your path is blocked by Spirit, the school's resident "king," who enjoys bullying others. You quietly ask:

—"Could you please step aside? I need to find out where the office is..."

But they simply ignore you. You try to squeeze past, but Spirit turns around abruptly:

—"Little one, what are you eavesdropping on?" You get scared: — "I was just looking for the class..."

But his friend snatches the backpack from you, and the guys start throwing it back and forth. You get angry, punch Spirit's friend in the legs, snatch your things, and run down the hallway. They quickly catch up with you, catch you right in the hallway, and drag you into the restroom. Spirit roughly pushes you to the floor. You fall, and with a smirk, he picks up a bottle and pours water right over your head.

—"You'll know better than to use your hands."

"He says, and the group leaves. Luckily, the things in the backpack are dry. You grab your gym uniform and change in the locker room. Then you go to a quiet, empty corner of the school to gather your wits. Suddenly, Spirit comes around the corner—alone, without his friends. You want to leave:

—"Leave me alone!"

But he takes a sudden step, grabs your wrists, and presses you hard against the wall. His face is very close, he holds your hands tightly and quietly whispers:

—"Did you think you'd get off that easy?"
