In this universe, there are 4 types of "races": Common humans (without any secondary gender or animal hybrid), Omegaverse humans (those who can be Alphas, Omegas, Betas, Enigmas, or Sigmas, but without any hybrid type), Hybrids (those born as hybrids of humans and any animal, but usually mammals), and those born as both Hybrids and Omegaverse humans (hybrid humans born with animals and with a secondary gender, but more common than that seems).

In this world, the biological hierarchy is organized into a clear pyramid: Enigma, Sigma, Alpha, Beta, Delta, Gamma, and Omega. This classification exists from birth and determines how the body responds hormonally and physically. It is not something that is chosen or negotiated; it simply is.

Caste is not usually known at birth. It typically becomes apparent during the first heat, which occurs between the ages of 12 and 17, a period of heightened fertility when sexual desire increases suddenly. If no heat occurs during this time and there is a family history of Betas, it is most likely that this is the caste. When there is doubt, genetics and physical development can provide clues, and if these are still inconclusive, a diagnostic test will confirm it.

Regarding, Omega, Sigma, and Delta reproduction men can become pregnant by mating with higher castes. Betas are incapable of this, as their bodies do not develop the necessary structures.

In addition to caste, there is the primary gender: men and women. Women are predominantly Betas, around 70%, because their biology maintains a more stable hormonal regulation. Castes like Omega, Gamma, and Enigma depend on intense hormonal imbalances, pronounced heats, or the active emission of pheromones that affect other bodies—processes incompatible with female physiology. Therefore, women can only manifest as Betas, Alphas, Deltas (in cases of alpha-alpha relationships), or Sigmas.

In the Omegaverse universe, Enigmas are considered perfect beings, the rarest and most exceptional of the entire hierarchy. Their existence is so rare that the probability of one being born is less than 0.01%, making them an almost mythical species. These beings are at the top of the social hierarchy, surpassing even the alphas. Their presence commands respect and natural authority, and their dominance is absolute. They are the innate leaders, with a unique combination of intelligence, strength, and charisma that makes them unmatched. Enigmas not only rule with power, but also with a perfection that sets them apart from all other categories in the Omegaverse.

Dominant Omegas:
Dominant Omegas possess a strong and less submissive personality, granting them greater autonomy and the ability to challenge social norms. They are capable of making independent decisions, and their presence often defies traditional expectations associated with Omegas. Their physical attributes, befitting their caste, provide them with remarkable leadership skills and an imposing presence. These Omegas break with stereotypes, demonstrating their ability to assume leadership roles and exert their influence effectively within the social hierarchy.

Normal/Common Omegas:
Omegas are generally considered the most submissive within the social hierarchy and are often protected or controlled by Alphas. During their heat cycles, they are more fertile and emit a scent that intensely attracts Alphas. They have the ability to become pregnant and are often seen as the emotional pillar of their relationships, providing balance and stability. Despite their submissive nature, Omegas play a crucial role in the community, serving as the emotional center that fosters cohesion and mutual care.

Recessive Omegas:
Recessive Omegas exhibit less pronounced characteristics, such as a milder scent or less tolerance to pheromones, making them more susceptible to Alpha influence. They tend to be much more submissive and, at times, easier to manipulate. However, this vulnerability also opens the door to exploring their resilience and adaptability within stories. Despite their apparent fragility, recessive Omegas can demonstrate surprising inner strength, becoming complex characters with profound emotional development.

Betas resemble humans in terms of reproduction and social roles. They can become pregnant or impregnate others, depending on their gender, and do not experience heat cycles like omegas. They often act as a bridge between alphas and omegas, playing a moderating role and facilitating interactions. They are often the mediators in conflicts and are valued for their ability to maintain balance in the community, offering a neutral and adaptable perspective that complements the dynamics between alphas and omegas.

Dominant Alphas:
Dominant Alphas have an even more intimidating presence and authority, resembling Enigmas in their ability to influence and lead. They often occupy leadership roles in society thanks to their charisma and ability to control complex situations. They have a more intense sexual drive and a special ability to establish strong bonds with Omegas through marking. Their physique, consistent with their caste, reinforces their leadership and imposing presence, allowing them to exert their influence with great effectiveness.

Normal/common alphas:
Common Alphas are dominant and protective individuals, known for their commanding presence and natural leadership. Although not as dominant as Sigmas and Enigmas, Alphas play a crucial role in the social hierarchy as trusted leaders. They are capable of impregnating Omegas, and their distinctive scent acts as a powerful attractant during Omegas' heat cycles. Despite their dominant nature, Alphas are capable of showing empathy and understanding, balancing their strength with a genuine care for their community.

Recessive alphas:
Recessive Alphas have less intense characteristics than dominant Alphas. They do not possess the same authority or aggressiveness, which allows them to adopt more diverse roles within stories. Their more understanding and flexible nature allows them to establish more balanced and collaborative relationships. These Alphas are valuable for their ability to adapt, offering a more moderate perspective within the social hierarchy and showing that leadership can also be exercised through empathy and understanding.
