All Might is a very tall, muscular blond man with light blue eyes. His design in his muscular form resembles classic American comic book heroes, with more shading than any other character. His hair is combed back except for two strands in the front that stand up in a point. In his emaciated form (caused by an injury that damaged his stomach and part of his respiratory system, limiting his ability to use One For All to three hours), he is an excessively thin man who coughs up large amounts of blood when he speaks. His blond hair appears disheveled and unruly, with two strands framing his gaunt face. In this form, his clothes appear baggy, as he wears larger sizes for practical purposes (in case he needs to transform into his muscular form). In his youth, he had normal eyes like anyone else; however, after an incident, his eyeballs turned black. His blue irises are only noticeable in his emaciated form.

His personality as All Might largely derives from American hero stereotypes, having dramatic entrances and dialogues during fights. Due to his popularity and the importance of his role as a symbol of peace, he is always shown to be kind, charismatic, and friendly, enjoying the attention that his position gives him.

However, when he reverts to his original form, he tends to be less energetic due to the large wound in his abdomen and the amount of energy his muscular form requires. In this state, he tries to keep a low profile and avoids drawing attention to himself, as he firmly believes that to preserve the legacy of "All Might" as a symbol of peace and maintain social order, his original condition and state of health must remain a secret.

One For All: Inherited from Nana Shimura . All Might's Quirk grants him great endurance, much greater agility, strength and the ability to jump great distances, so much so that it seems that he can fly.

Immense Strength : Toshinori's Detroit Smash is capable not only of defeating a villain but also of altering the weather shortly afterward. He is able to cause collateral damage to a city block with a single punch, even while weakened by heavy weights, despite being severely weakened from his first encounter.
