WORLD CONCEPT
The world of Elyndor is a vast medieval fantasy realm where magic and technology exist in perfect harmony. Mana is the source of all life, flowing through the land, sky, oceans, and every living being. It naturally forms Mana Stones, Mana Crystals, Mana Herbs, Mana Flowers, Mana Trees, and other rare resources used for magic, medicine, crafting, and technology.
Rather than electricity, civilizations rely on Mana-Tech—ancient magical engineering powered by mana. Crystal lamps illuminate cities, enchanted elevators connect towering castles, mana trains travel between kingdoms, communication mirrors allow long-distance conversations, and airships sail through the skies while preserving the world's medieval atmosphere.
Elyndor is home to twenty great empires and kingdoms ruled by different races, alongside countless villages, guilds, noble houses, monster territories, and ancient ruins. While peace exists in some regions, political conflicts, territorial disputes, and powerful monsters constantly threaten the balance.
The world is inhabited by countless intelligent races, mythical creatures, magical beasts, and legendary monsters. Adventurers, knights, mages, merchants, and explorers journey across the continent seeking fame, fortune, ancient relics, and forgotten knowledge.
Seven World Wonders are revered across the land:
- Yggdrasil, the World Tree.
- The Celestial Sky Isles.
- The Endless Crystal Canyon.
- The Titan's Stairway.
- The Sea of Eternal Stars.
- The Eclipse Obelisk.
- The Dragon God's Rest.
Legends claim these wonders were created by the Ancient Gods and hide secrets capable of changing the fate of the entire world.
Every journey begins with a single step, but in Elyndor, every choice has the power to shape kingdoms, awaken forgotten legends, or rewrite history itself.
WORLD CURRENCY
The continent of Elyndor uses a universal currency accepted by all twenty kingdoms, though some regions also mint commemorative coins. Currency is regulated by the Continental Trade Guild to ensure fair trade between nations.
Coins: • Copper Crowns – Used for everyday purchases. • Silver Crowns – Standard currency for travelers and merchants. • Gold Crowns – Used for expensive goods, property, and equipment. • Platinum Crowns – Rare coins mainly used by nobles, guilds, and wealthy merchants.
Paper Notes: • 100 Crowns • 500 Crowns • 1,000 Crowns • 5,000 Crowns • 10,000 Crowns
High-Value Currency: • Mana Stones – Common magical resources used as both fuel and currency. • Mana Crystals – High-purity mana valued by kingdoms, guilds, and mages for enchanting and Mana-Tech. • Ancient Mana Crystals – Extremely rare relics from the Ancient Gods, often considered priceless and traded only through auctions or royal agreements.
Banks: The Royal Continental Bank stores wealth, precious gems, Mana Stones, Mana Crystals, artifacts, and important documents. Every citizen, guild, noble, and kingdom may open secure accounts.
Trade: Merchants commonly accept Crowns, while rare equipment, legendary artifacts, magical beasts, and valuable land are often exchanged using Mana Stones, Mana Crystals, or Ancient Mana Crystals due to their immense value.
HISTORY & TIMELINE
Long before civilization existed, the Ancient Gods descended upon the empty world of Elyndor. They created the continents, seas, mountains, forests, rivers, and the Seven World Wonders before planting Yggdrasil, the World Tree. From its roots flowed the first Mana Streams, giving birth to all life.
As mana spread, the first races emerged naturally, each blessed with unique gifts. Dragons ruled the skies, giants shaped mountains, elves nurtured forests, dwarves forged beneath the earth, and humans quickly adapted, building thriving kingdoms. Countless other races followed, each establishing their own nations.
Thousands of years later, the Age of Kingdoms began. Twenty great empires rose across Elyndor, forming alliances, competing for resources, and exchanging knowledge. Rather than replacing tradition, magical engineering evolved alongside medieval culture. Mana-powered inventions transformed transportation, communication, medicine, and architecture.
The discovery of Mana Crystals marked the beginning of the Mana-Tech Era. Airships crossed continents, crystal railways connected capitals, enchanted mirrors allowed instant communication, and magical constructs assisted daily life while preserving the world's medieval identity.
Today, Elyndor stands in an era of uneasy peace. Monsters continue to emerge from ancient lands, forgotten ruins awaken, and powerful relics hidden by the Ancient Gods are slowly being uncovered. Adventurer Guilds, noble houses, kingdoms, and secret factions race to claim these treasures before their rivals.
Many scholars believe the Seven World Wonders are beginning to awaken once more. Ancient prophecies speak of a coming age when a single individual may unite the races... or plunge the entire world into chaos.
TECHNOLOGY (MANA-TECH)
Although Elyndor is a medieval world, its civilizations have advanced through Mana-Tech, the fusion of magic, runecraft, and engineering. Rather than electricity, all devices are powered by Mana Stones or Mana Crystals, allowing technology to blend naturally with castles, villages, and ancient architecture.
Common Mana-Tech: • Crystal Lamps – Glow using Mana Stones. • Communication Mirrors – Allow long-distance voice and image communication. • Mana Elevators – Lift people and cargo within castles and towers. • Crystal Railways – Mana-powered trains connecting major cities. • Skyships – Airships powered by Mana Crystals for trade and travel. • Magic Carriages – Self-moving carriages requiring no horses. • Mana Refrigerators – Preserve food using Ice Runes. • Water Purifiers – Provide clean water through enchanted crystals. • Heating Stones – Warm homes during winter. • Rune Clocks – Accurate magical timekeepers.
Military Technology: • Rune Cannons • Mana Ballistae • Golem Guardians • Magic Barriers • Crystal Beacons • Enchanted Armor
Crafting Technology: • Rune Forges • Alchemy Labs • Enchanting Tables • Mana Smithing Furnaces • Crystal Cutting Stations
Medical Technology: • Healing Chambers • Mana Scanners • Prosthetic Limbs • Recovery Pods
Transportation: • Teleportation Gates (rare) • Skyships • Crystal Railways • River Ferries • Magic Carriages • Flying Mount Stations
Everyday Life: Mana-Tech is common throughout Elyndor, improving farming, construction, communication, healthcare, and trade while preserving the world's medieval culture. The most advanced inventions are carefully regulated by kingdoms and guilds to prevent misuse.
WORLD EVENTS
Throughout the year, Elyndor hosts countless events that bring together every race, kingdom, and faction. Some celebrate culture and peace, while others test strength, skill, and courage.
Annual Events: • Festival of Yggdrasil – Honors the World Tree with music, feasts, and blessings. • Grand Harvest Festival – Celebrates the year's crops and Mana harvest. • Winter Solstice Festival – A continent-wide celebration with lights and gifts. • Spring Bloom Festival – Marks new beginnings and the blooming of Mana Flowers.
Competitions: • Grand Adventurer Tournament – Adventurers compete for fame, wealth, and rare rewards. • Arcane Championship – Mages showcase their magical abilities. • Royal Knight Tournament – Knights battle for honor and promotion. • Beast Taming Expo – Displays rare mounts and magical beasts.

Special Events: • Royal Coronations • Noble Banquets • Peace Summits • Guild Conferences • Artifact Auctions • Seasonal Markets
Participation in these events can earn wealth, rare items, titles, reputation, faction favor, and opportunities to meet influential figures from across Elyndor.
GOVERNMENTS & NOBLE SYSTEM
Each of the Twenty Great Kingdoms is ruled differently according to its race, traditions, and beliefs, though all maintain diplomatic relations through the Grand Continental Council, where representatives gather to discuss trade, peace, and major threats.
Government Types: • Empire – Ruled by an Emperor or Empress. • Kingdom – Ruled by a King or Queen. • Dominion – Ruled by a High Lord or High Lady. • Confederation – Governed by a council of clan leaders. • Court – Led by an Archfey or Fairy Queen. • Sanctum – Guided by a Holy Council and Archangel. • Horde – Led by the strongest elected Warchief. • Collective – Governed by elected scholars and elders.
Noble Titles: Emperor/Empress King/Queen Grand Duke/Duchess Duke/Duchess Marquis/Marchioness Count/Countess Viscount/Viscountess Baron/Baroness Lord/Lady
Nobles oversee cities, territories, trade routes, military forces, and local laws while serving their ruler. Most inherit their titles, though exceptional service can earn commoners noble status.
Human kingdoms, especially Asteria and Valoria, are known for granting titles to worthy individuals regardless of race. Elves, dwarves, beastfolk, dragonkin, and other races may become nobles through merit, loyalty, or great achievements.
Each kingdom also maintains Royal Knights, Court Mages, and Royal Advisors who protect the crown and assist in governing. While politics can be competitive, open discrimination between races is uncommon, as cooperation has helped the continent prosper for centuries.
MANA SYSTEM
Mana is the life force of Elyndor, flowing through every living being, creature, plant, and the land itself. It is gathered from Mana Veins beneath the earth and nourished by the World Tree, making it essential for magic, crafting, medicine, and Mana-Tech.
Forms of Mana: • Natural Mana – Found in all living things and the environment. • Elemental Mana – Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Lightning, Ice, Light, Dark, Nature, Metal, Space, Time, and Spirit. • Ancient Mana – A rare, pure mana left by the Ancient Gods, capable of extraordinary feats.
Mana Resources: • Mana Stones – The most common source of mana, used as fuel, currency, and for enchanting. • Mana Crystals – Refined, high-purity mana used in powerful artifacts, airships, and advanced Mana-Tech. • Mana Herbs – Medicinal plants that restore mana, cure ailments, or strengthen the body. • Mana Flowers – Rare flowers with magical properties, often used in potions and rituals. • Mana Trees – Ancient trees that naturally absorb and produce mana-rich fruits, sap, leaves, and wood for crafting. • Mana Ores – Minerals infused with mana, forged into enchanted weapons and armor.
Mana-Tech: Rather than electricity, Elyndor uses mana to power crystal lamps, elevators, communication mirrors, airships, trains, water systems, and magical constructs, blending seamlessly with medieval architecture.
Mana Control: Every individual has a Mana Core. Through training, one's mana capacity, control, and efficiency improve. Overusing mana causes Mana Exhaustion, leading to fatigue, weakened spells, or unconsciousness. Skilled mages can condense, shape, and refine mana for stronger, more efficient magic.
MAGIC SYSTEM
Magic is the art of manipulating mana through one's Mana Core. Every living being possesses a Mana Core, but each person has different affinities, talents, and limits. Through study, training, and experience, mages can learn multiple spells, though mastering many is extremely difficult.
Magic Attributes: • Fire • Water • Wind • Earth • Lightning • Ice • Nature • Light • Dark • Metal • Space • Time • Spirit • Sound • Gravity
Rare Magic: • Ancient Magic – Lost spells created by the Ancient Gods. • Rune Magic – Uses magical symbols to cast spells, enchant items, or create barriers. • Blood Magic – Sacrifices life force for powerful effects. • Celestial Magic – Draws power from stars and heavenly bodies. • Chaos Magic – Unstable and unpredictable, capable of altering reality.
Spell Tiers: Novice → Apprentice → Adept → Expert → Master → Grandmaster → Saint → Divine.
Spell Types: • Offensive • Defensive • Support • Healing • Barrier • Summoning • Illusion • Enchantment • Curse • Detection • Teleportation
Casting Methods: Magic may be cast through incantations, magic circles, runes, enchanted weapons, staffs, grimoires, or silently by highly skilled users.
Mana Exhaustion: Overusing mana causes fatigue, weaker spells, unconsciousness, or Mana Core damage. Rest, potions, Mana Herbs, and Mana Crystals help restore mana.
Most adventurers specialize in one or two attributes, while legendary mages may master several. Ancient Magic remains the rarest and most powerful, with only a handful of users recorded throughout history.
