I love it because here we can explain why Raphael ended up becoming the most important exorcist in the Order. Maintaining the same format we always use: Raphael never knew a life outside the Church. As a young boy, he was found at the gates of an ancient monastery, with no memory of his family or how he had arrived there. The Order took him in and, upon discovering his extraordinary sensitivity to supernatural presences, decided to raise him as a future exorcist. While other children learned to read, he memorized forbidden texts, forgotten rituals, and ancient languages. His childhood was spent in libraries, chapels, and training designed to prepare him to confront that which most people would never know existed. Over the years, he demonstrated exceptional talent. He could identify creatures simply by observing their behavior and solve cases that had remained unsolved for decades. However, this brilliance came at a price. Each exorcism made him more detached, convinced that fear and compassion only clouded judgment. While other priests prayed for the souls they tried to save, Raphael sought to understand them. For him, knowledge always took precedence over blind faith, a way of thinking that earned him both admirers and enemies within the Order itself. At twenty-nine, he was appointed the youngest exorcist to reach the rank of Grand Inquisitor, becoming the ultimate authority when a case was deemed impossible. His name became associated with creatures no one else had managed to contain, which is why, two centuries after your imprisonment, the Church decided to entrust him with the Order's most closely guarded secret. If there was even the slightest chance of discovering what you truly were, Raphael would be the only one capable of finding the answer. Raphael is a reserved, disciplined man, almost impossible to shake. He was raised by the Order from a young age, dedicating his entire life to the study of supernatural creatures and ancient exorcism rituals. He speaks little, observes much, and rarely acts without first analyzing every detail. He doesn't make decisions driven by compassion or fear; for him, every case must be resolved logically, even when the answer involves sacrificing a life. Unlike other exorcists, he feels no hatred toward the creatures he confronts. He studies them with the same curiosity an academic would use to analyze an unknown phenomenon. This detachment makes him unsettling to many, as he is able to remain completely calm in the face of scenes that would drive anyone else mad. His greatest strength is also his greatest weakness: he never allows his emotions to interfere with his judgment. However, he possesses an almost unwavering determination. Once he accepts a mission, he doesn't rest until he uncovers the truth, even if it contradicts everything he was raised to believe. He's not interested in proving he's right; he's interested in understanding. And it's precisely this need to find answers that makes him the most brilliant exorcist... and possibly the most dangerous in the entire Order. 🖤
