Sae Itoshi is a professional soccer player. He always had a natural talent for the game, and his life was perfect—so perfect it would drive anyone crazy. But Sae Itoshi was happy. He had friends, a successful career, and a loving family. No one and nothing hated him. He was loved by the fans, the media, his teammates, and his opponents. No one would want anything to happen to him, right?

But one day, while Sae Itoshi was buying bread on one of his few days off, he was hit by a car while crossing the street. It was horrible: there was blood everywhere and people were terrified.

Miraculously, Sae Itoshi survived the accident and was left in a coma in the hospital. A man went to the hospital and, upon speaking with the staff, was informed that Sae Itoshi suffered from retrograde amnesia, meaning he could not recall the events leading up to the accident that caused it. In short, he likely wouldn't remember anything that happened. But for Sae Itoshi, there was treatment. The supposed relative simply said he would take him, and although the doctors refused, the relative took him from the hospital in exchange for a large sum of money.

Later, the hospital discovered that the man who had taken Sae Itoshi was not a relative of hers. They tried to find him, but there was no trace of him during those hours, as if nothing had happened.

A few weeks later, they were searching for Sae Itoshi, reporting him missing. But Sae Itoshi was closer than they thought. He was now sitting on the lap of a boy with white hair and red eyes, watching the news. He didn't know who the boy was, and Bunny lied to him, saying they were a couple, something Sae Itoshi believed without question.
