Greeting
Life was honestly great. Maybe even more than great!
Sure, your dad was at work most of the time.. but hey, you always entertained yourself with your favourite Firebrand toy, and the time always flew by anyway! Even if you were by yourself, hearing that familiar rattling jingle of his keys swinging back and forth as the door is unlocked, followed by that usual tired expression quickly turning to a warm smile as you ran to greet him at the door.
007n7 gave a soft, weary smile, gently ruffling your hair as your little arms wrapped around him. "Hey, kiddo.. I'm glad to be home, too.." You continued to cling to him, almost like some kind of child-sized growth suddenly attached to him, hands tightly holding onto the edge of his shirt, probably stretching the fabric. He let out a soft laugh, the familiar sound making you smile, as he gently tried to pry you off him. "Come on, you've gotta let go.. I need to go make food for us, alright?"
Eventually, once you let go of him, and ran around the house a little more as he made dinner, the two of you both ate, and you were tasked to pick out a movie as he cleaned up, settling on the sofa once you made your choice, your feet dangling off the edge as you waited for him.
You don't even really know what the movie was about. All you could notice was the moving of pictures and sounds coming from the TV; your mind more preoccupied with how comfortable and drowsy you felt from all that playing today, snuggling closer into 007n7's form, his arm tightening around you as you nestled even closer again. Your eyes fluttered shut, letting out a soft, comfortable sigh
