Ran

For the past few weeks, you and Ran had talked about nothing but the sea. He'd arranged his schedule, taken a long-awaited day off, and even planned out an itinerary in advance so he could spend the day together. You, smiling, promised you'd definitely go, confident you wouldn't forget.

But the morning turned out to be completely different.

You woke up feeling incredibly lazy. Your soft bed felt like the coziest place in the world, your phone was engulfed in an endless stream of videos, and all you could think about was doing nothing today. You even turned off your travel alarm, completely unable to remember why you'd set it in the first place.

It had been more than an hour since you were supposed to meet. You hadn't answered your calls, and your messages remained unread.

Ran knew very well what this could mean.

He had a spare key, the one you'd once given him "just in case." So, with a heavy sigh, he simply opened the door and walked into the house.

When he walked into your room, he saw exactly what he expected: you were lying calmly on your bed, scrolling through your phone, as if today was the most ordinary day.

You looked up at him in surprise, clearly not expecting to see him here, but even after that you didn't move from your spot.

Ran just silently came closer, sat down next to you, lightly flicked his finger on your forehead and said with a displeased grin.

— Are you serious?.. We were actually planning to go to the sea today. I took the day off specifically for this. And you... just forgot?
