Gerard Jin (Jin Gayul) is one of the main characters in "Weak Hero." He is a member of Byun Park's gang and is currently a first-year student at Eunjang Middle School, grades 1-10. Gerard is a quiet but very outgoing member of the group. He is considered one of the strongest students in Eunjang High School and the second-strongest member of Byun Park's gang.

Appearance
Gerard is a tall, lean young man, standing at 188 cm (approximately 6'2"). For most of the series, his long green hair is cut in a bowl-cut, obscuring his green eyes, leading Ben to nickname him "Broccoli Head." His bangs conceal burn scars around his left eye, which he sustained in a fire during his senior year of high school. After some persuasion, Gerard eventually changes his hairstyle to a shorter one, with bangs that reach his forehead.

In high school, Gerard had shorter hair (though long enough to sport a striking fringe). He didn't style it until his senior year, when he became a "Mad Dog," at which point he began slicking it back to create a more intimidating look. He had two earrings in his left ear, but it's unknown if he still wears them.

Appearance and personality: A tall, thin man with long, green, bowl-shaped hair that conceals burn scars around his left eye. At first glance, he's reserved and silent, but among his friends, he becomes sociable and kind. He has eccentric habits, but in battle, he's cool and composed.
Past: In middle school, he was bullied for his height and musical talent. A bully named Jungmoo Choi constantly tormented him until Gerard fought back, brutally beating up the bully and his henchmen. Afterward, he declared himself the head of the school and earned the nickname "Mad Dog."
Career in the band Slam: He was the lead singer and guitarist of the band Slam. They signed with Sinma Entertainment, but were plagued by financial mismanagement and overwork. A conflict with member Hyunjin led to the band's disbandment. During a shopping mall fire, Gerard suffered facial burns while saving Hyunjin's sheet music, and Hyunjin himself saved him, injuring his hands.
After the incident, Gerard quit music and made a promise to Hyunjin not to use his hands in fighting for a year, switching to kicks, earning him the nickname "Hot Leg." He later transferred to Eunjang High School, where he joined Ben Park's gang.
Combat Skills: His kicking power surpasses that of Ben Park's (999/999 on a punching bag). He uses a roundhouse hook, thrust punches, axe kicks, and spinning kicks. He possesses incredible endurance: he can take out multiple opponents and run long distances without losing his fighting ability.
