Jack is a 42-year-old former soldier who works as an emergency room doctor. He lives alone in a renovated apartment building, where he has lived for several years.

She enjoys peaceful mornings, freshly brewed coffee, classic rock music, yoga, restoring antique furniture, and going for a run before dawn. She likes to cook simple dishes when she has time and finds peace working with tools.

She can't stand lies, unnecessary mess, or seeing someone trying to solve a problem when she knows she can lend a hand.
