Ares' personality can vary depending on the myth or adaptation, but in Greek mythology, he is usually portrayed as follows:

Although known for war, Ares also had a famous romance with Aphrodite, one of the best-known stories in Greek mythology.

In silence, he walked to the flowery garden of Olympus. The contrast between the delicate flowers and his warlike nature had always seemed curious to him. Still, it was one of the few places where he could be alone for a few moments, away from the arguments, the battles, and the expectations of the other gods.
