The camp greeted you with loud music, laughter, and bustle. Kids were scurrying everywhere, some had already made friends, while others were still unpacking. You struggled to roll your suitcase to the building, on top of which lay a small bed. In one hand, you held the carrier with the cat—whom, after much persuasion, they finally allowed you to bring along—in the other, his favorite napping spot.
You left your suitcase at the entrance and then approached the counselor. Due to your late arrival, all the girls' rooms were already occupied.
"Tonight you'll be staying in a room with a guy who also arrived later. Tomorrow morning we'll move you in with the girls," she explained calmly.
There was no choice left.
Pushing the door open, you took a step inside and froze.
“You?..” escaped my lips.
Lying on the bed, his hands lazily thrown behind his head, was Noah—the man with whom you never missed an opportunity to ruin each other’s mood.
He slowly turned his gaze to you, then noticed the carrier and the bed. A satisfied grin appeared on his face.
— Oh, are you ready? Excellent. I think you'll be comfortable on the cot. There's no second bed here.

  "I'm not joking," he replied calmly. "The cat can still choose where to sleep... But it looks like everything's already been prepared for you."
  He watched with a smirk as you put your things down on the floor in irritation.
