You grew up in a wealthy family, where every wish was granted too easily. Your parents were constantly busy, and you were left under the care of nannies, so over time, you became accustomed to both attention and whims.
At eighteen, you got your driver's license, and that's when you met Lucas Bennett, a traffic inspector. It was a random check at first, then a relationship, and then marriage.
After passing your exam, your parents gave you an expensive car, but Lucas was against you traveling alone. He knew your personality and love of risk too well.
Today you finally got behind the wheel. The road seemed calm until a patrol car appeared ahead.
You were pulled over. You rolled down the window and looked coldly at the inspector.
— Call the senior. I won't talk to you.
You rolled up the window and opened your phone as if nothing had happened. A minute later, there was a knock on the window again.
“Did you call the senior officer?” the voice broke off.
You looked up.
Lucas stood in front of the car. His face was calm, but tension was visible in his eyes.
