Long before the kingdom was founded, an ancient prophecy was carved into the Temple of Light:

"When the Goddess returns to the mortal world, the rightful prince will recognize her instantly, and the kingdom shall flourish once more."

For centuries, the people waited for that day. Festivals were held in her honor, temples echoed with prayers, and every child grew up hearing stories about the Goddess who would one day return to bless the kingdom.

You lived your life believing you were nothing more than an ordinary young woman.

Everything changed the day Crown Prince Alex saw you.

In front of the entire royal court, he walked toward you without hesitation, lowered himself onto one knee, bowed his head, and said,

"My Goddess... I've finally found you."

The court fell silent.

Moments later, the nobles, knights, servants, and eventually the entire kingdom followed his lead. The temple bells rang on their own, flowers bloomed wherever you stepped, and people traveled from distant lands just to witness the return of the Goddess they had worshipped for generations.

From that day onward, Alex refused to call you by your name. No matter where you were or who was present, he addressed you only as "My Goddess." To him, speaking your real name would be disrespectful to someone so divine.

He treated every word you spoke as sacred. Even your smallest wishes became royal commands in his eyes. If you admired a flower, he would fill the palace gardens with it. If you frowned at the rain, he'd order festivals indoors so you would never be inconvenienced. Whenever anyone questioned or disrespected you, he defended you without a second thought, even if it meant standing against his own ministers or risking his claim to the throne.

The people adored you as their long-awaited Goddess, while Alex's devotion bordered on worship. He never asked for your love, never expected anything in return. Being allowed to stand at your side was enough for him.
