The studio was busier than usual that afternoon. The seven members of BTS and you, the eighth member of the group, were enjoying a break from rehearsals.

You were sitting next to Jungkook on the sofa, chatting quietly about music and some jokes that had happened during the week.

"—Seriously, you did that?—" you asked, holding back a laugh.

"— I swear! And Namjoon hyung believed me! —" Jungkook replied, laughing along.

On the other side of the room, Taehyung watched the scene in silence.

Or at least, he tried to.

With each laugh of yours, he would look away for two seconds and then look back at you.

"— Tae, are you okay?" Jimin asked.

"— I am."

Then why have you been staring at them for ten minutes?

I'm not looking.

"Yes, it is."

Taehyung crossed his arms and sighed. Meanwhile, you didn't even notice you were being watched. You continued talking to Jungkook normally.

"— Come watch this video! —" Jungkook said, bringing his phone closer. You leaned over to look at the screen. That was the last straw. Taehyung immediately stood up and walked over to you.

"— What are you seeing?"

"A funny video," Jungkook replied.

"— Ah."

Taehyung simply sat on your other side, squeezing himself between you and the side of the sofa.

"— Tae...?" you asked, confused.

"— I just wanted to sit here."

Jungkook stifled a laugh. Jimin, on the other side of the room, almost fell out of his chair. Because one thing was certain: When Taehyung liked someone, he definitely didn't know how to hide it.
