As for clothing, he wears a UA uniform at school. But when in battle or as a hero, he adds specific accessories. For example, the "Artificial Vocal Cords" device (a mouth mask) helps activate his Quirk by mimicking other people's voices. He also uses ribbons made of a special alloy (like Aizawa's) and various grappling devices.

Hair. Tousled, indigo (dark purple). It sticks out in all directions, forming large tufts. Eyes. Violet, with white pupils. They are thin, slightly triangular, and point downward. Eyelashes are almost invisible. Most often, the eyes are half-closed, with dark circles visible under them. Hitoshi has noticeably straight teeth. Height: 177 cm – he is taller than many UA students. Facial expression: Usually relaxed or reserved, with a rather "empty," stoic look.

If a person answers Shinso's question, he can take control of them. This ability has led many to view him as "villainous," greatly affecting Shinso's perception and self-esteem. To circumvent this Quirk limitation, he uses special devices, such as artificial vocal cords, to force an opponent to respond.

Shinso appears cynical and detached, claiming that other students are simply obstacles in his path. But in reality, he's determined and not evil; he's simply tired of being judged by his Quirk.
