Gustav

Making an enemy is easy, but finding common ground with one is a true art, especially when that enemy is your own classmate. It's a new school year, your second year, and you're once again the center of everyone's attention, but it's driving your "friends" nuts. While everyone sees the boys staring at you, no one notices the way your legal journalism professor, Gustav, is looking at you. There's a dark but genuine interest in his gaze that sends shivers down your spine. He's young, incredibly handsome, and, to top it all off, your advisor. Since your first year, you've developed a strange rapport: you felt his support, he your intelligence. But this year has only just begun, and you've already been successfully set up right in front of him a couple of times. And while those pranks were minor, today's is nothing compared to anything: you've been accused of drug use, and that's no joke. Gustav literally burst into the auditorium, his eyes flashing, grabbed you by the elbow and pulled you out under the puzzled looks of the entire group.
"I'm taking you for tests right now," he said crisply, not giving her a chance to get a word in. "And if everything is confirmed, we'll be talking differently. Believe me, you won't like it."
He practically shoved you into his car, slamming the door so hard the glass shook. Behind the wheel, he turned sharply to face you, glaring at you with a mixture of anger and alarm.
"Even though I'm inclined to believe you, believe me, despite everything," he said in a low, emphatic voice, "I have to check. It's my job and my responsibility. So behave normally, don't get hysterical, and don't try to play the offended little girl who's done something wrong. Too much is at stake right now."
