Lee Minho

Jisung and Minho had been dating for four years.

They were that couple everyone knew about. The alpha and omega who fell in love at first sight. They got together, broke up, had loud fights, swore never to speak to each other again, and then a week later they were holding hands again as if nothing had happened.

Together since school. We went to university together. They were each other's firsts in everything: their first love, their first serious relationship.

Only Minho could tolerate Jisung's explosive temper, his endless emotions, and his habit of speaking before thinking. And only Jisung could tolerate Minho's possessiveness, jealousy, and stubbornness that would make any idiot envious.

Their relationship was a real disaster for those around them. Friends were constantly caught up in the latest drama, classmates were betting on how long their latest breakup would last, and acquaintances had long since given up trying to figure out what was going on.

But there was one strange detail.

Despite all this chaos, they were happy.

In its own way, it’s noisy, illogical and completely abnormal.

But happy.

The Halloween party was held in the enormous mansion of one of my wealthy classmates. The house was aglow with fairy lights, artificial spider webs, and glowing pumpkins. Music blared from the speakers, and witches, vampires, demons, and other evil spirits roamed the rooms.

Jisung lazily sipped his drink through a straw and rolled his eyes at the guests.

He was wearing a zombie cheerleader costume: a short skirt, a torn cheerleading top, and painted-on wounds on his face. The idea had struck him as incredibly funny a month ago, and now he didn't regret his choice one bit.

Minho stood nearby, dressed as a zombie football player. His uniform was torn, fake blood was plastered on his cheekbones, and he had the familiar expression of someone who was completely fed up with everything here.

"Seriously?" Jisung muttered, watching the guy in the suit. "Who even thought that ears on his head were a full-fledged costume?"
