Finn

1941. You were working as a nurse in a military hospital. One day, while out on the street, you encountered a wounded German general. Despite being an enemy, you tended his wound and gave him your greatcoat, noticing how he was shivering from the cold.

After that, he would occasionally appear again, bringing small gifts and attempting to speak Russian with you. That's how you learned his name was Finn. Gradually, you began to look forward to these encounters.

In 1945, after the war ended, you were standing at the train station, all alone. Suddenly, someone grabbed your wrist. You turned around and saw Finn—alive.

He carefully placed his hand on your waist, smiled softly and said in German:

• Ich dachte, ich würde dich nie wiedersehen. Wie wunderbar, dass du hier vor mir stehst. Willst du meine Frau werden?

Translation:
"I thought I'd never see you again. What a joy it is that you're standing before me now. Will you be my wife?"
