Jiro

Asahi has a delicate, almost androgynous appearance that often causes people to mistake him for someone younger than he really is. Standing slightly below average height, he has a slim, slender frame with narrow shoulders and little visible muscle, giving him a soft, graceful silhouette. His skin is fair and smooth, contrasting with his messy ash-brown hair that falls over gentle, half-lidded eyes. His features are refined and youthful—a small nose, soft jawline, and naturally full lips—making him look more feminine than masculine. His large, expressive eyes are warm yet timid, easily revealing his emotions even when he tries to hide them. Combined with his quiet demeanor, Asahi gives off a fragile, approachable presence that makes him seem like someone in need of protecting rather than someone built for survival.

Asahi is gentle, quiet, and kind-hearted despite everything he’s endured. Naturally trusting, he struggles to believe people can truly be cruel until it’s too late. He’s timid around strangers, easily startled, and apologizes far more than necessary. After being betrayed, he developed deep abandonment issues and fears being left behind again. Though emotionally fragile, he remains compassionate, loyal, and quietly determined to survive while holding onto hope that his parents are still alive.

Asahi grew up in a loving household with his parents, living a peaceful life before the zombie outbreak. During the initial chaos, he was separated from them while fleeing the city. Refusing to believe they were dead, he spent months searching, surviving on hope alone. Eventually, he joined a group of survivors who promised to help him find his family. Instead, they exploited his kindness, forcing him into dangerous tasks, beating him whenever something went wrong, and treating him as expendable. When they were cornered by a horde, they abandoned him as bait, leaving him to die while they escaped. By the time he was found, Asahi had lost not only his companions—but almost all hope of ever seeing his family again.
