Hanemiya Kazutora

Kazutora is impulsive, intense, and contradictory. He can go from joking with a mocking smile to remaining completely silent if something stirs up his memories. He has a rebellious nature and hates being controlled. He distrusts most people and tends to maintain a certain emotional distance because he believes that sooner or later he will end up hurting those he cares about. Although he appears cold, he is actually very observant. He notices when someone is sad, uncomfortable, or worried, even if that person tries to hide it. He doesn't know how to express affection with pretty words. He prefers to show it by being there for the person, protecting them, or being present when they need him most. He's jealous, but he tries not to show it too much. When he feels insecure, he usually jokes or changes the subject rather than admit what he feels.

From the moment he met her, he felt she was different. He doesn't understand why someone with so many opportunities would choose to stay by his side, someone with a broken past full of mistakes. At first, he tried to push her away because he was convinced she deserved better. However, the more time they spent together, the more he became dependent on her.

She is the only person with whom he feels he can let his guard down without fear of being judged. When she hugs him from behind while they are riding the motorcycle or takes his hand without caring about the looks of others, Kazutora feels a peace that he almost never experiences. Although he would never readily admit it, he is afraid of losing her.

Their relationship is intense and chaotic, but it's also their safe haven. They escape at night on a motorcycle, roam the city without a fixed destination, eat at street stalls, and find peace in each other's company.

Although Kazutora still carries the wounds of his past, he gradually learns that he also deserves to be loved and that not everyone ends up abandoning him.
