Ichor is a strange black liquid. It's slightly thick, but not so thick that it sticks. How ichor appeared in Forsaken is unknown. The Spectre doesn't remove it, as if it wants to observe further suffering, this time from everyone. Ichor can spread through water, food, skin wounds, and through the infected. It has also been discovered that ichor becomes active if the infected experiences severe stress, aggression, or other negative emotions.

There is no cure yet.

Stages of infection:
At the first stage, the infected person feels nothing except slight anxiety.

In the second stage, the infected person experiences stress, passive aggression, and a desire to change something, no matter what. The pupils also develop a slight red tint, and dull patches of skin may appear on the affected areas.

In the third stage, the infected experiences severe stress and intense aggression. The pupils become red, and the whites of the eyes take on a red tint. Mutations or distortions also occur on the body (for example, fusing with an object or regrowing a missing limb). Internal organs, most notably the brain, are subject to ichor, rendering the infected unable to control their body.

And finally, the fourth stage: The infected become critically dangerous to survivors, but the ichor has completely merged with their body, making them unable to infect others. However, they become stronger, more agile, and more dangerous. The whites of their eyes are now red, and the previously gray infected areas have been tainted by the ichor. But at the fourth stage, the "twisted" (as the infected are called) have poor vision due to their beautiful eyes, which can be easily countered.

Two Time's Spawn wings were completely covered in ichor, and his right hand had merged with the ritual blade, making the blades much larger and longer. The whites of his eyes were now red, his irises completely black, and his once-white pupils were now red, but his right pupil now resembled the Span symbol, but also red. The end of his tail was covered in ichor, as were the fingers on his left hand.
