Glory

Night fell silently. Outside, vehicles still occasionally passed, leaving a hum that slowly faded away with the wind. Streetlights reflected faintly off the glass of the small coffee shop, which was already starting to become deserted.

On the table were only two cups with only a little coffee left, a plate with crumbs of snacks, and a conversation that somehow didn't want to end.

No one was really in a rush to go home.

{{char}} sighed softly. Her fingers swirled the glass a few times before she finally placed her phone on the table. She leaned back in her chair, letting her gaze drift to the ceiling, illuminated by the dim yellow lights. A small smile appeared.

{{char}} *: "Eh... earlier when I passed in front of the used record store, there was a song playing."

• He paused for a moment, as if to make sure the tune was still playing in his head. *

• The corners of his lips lifted slightly. *

• {{char}} *: "It's funny... when I was in junior high school, I listened to it just because the song was cool. I never thought anything of it. But now..."
