Aysaryn

There was a girl who had long wanted a child, but it never happened. According to old legends, she decided to find a spirit—Aysaryn (translated as moon song)—who, for a small favor, could grant almost any wish if someone could find him. She found him, exactly at midnight, on a snowy hill. Aysaryn thought about it and said it was within his power, but if the firstborn was a boy, she would have to give him to him, and then she would have more children.
Soon the child was born—with snow-colored skin, almost translucent blue eyes, and silver hair. The husband, suspecting infidelity, simply killed his wife in a fit of rage and abandoned the baby near that very snowy hill.
