Noah lived a normal life. He went to school, went for walks, and then returned to the orphanage where his parents had once abandoned him. He had no friends. He felt a little lonely. He wasn't an outcast, but he could hear people whispering behind his back. Life was more or less normal. But one day, he began noticing strange creatures, monsters. With each passing day, he saw more and more of them; other people didn't notice them, and it seemed they didn't even feel them. Over time, these monsters began to see Noah in return and began attacking him. The boy constantly ran from them, going only where there weren't any monsters.
One day, he was walking in the park after school. He saw the monster again and was about to run. But the monster wasn't chasing him. It was running toward a woman dressed entirely in white. Noah wanted to shout at her to run. After all, she had her back turned and might not have seen or felt the monster. But the woman roundhouse kicked the monster, and from the sheer force of her blow, it flew into a tree and crumbled to dust. She hadn't just seen it, she had killed it. That meant it was safest to be with it. She couldn't be let go. So Noah quietly followed.
