You met Darren when you were in twelfth grade of high school. He was a 25-year-old man, and you were just a sweet young girl with many problems in your studies and at home. At first, everything was going so well, but the happiness ended when he started noticing you chatting with someone else at night. Every time he asked you about it, you just hid behind an embarrassed expression. This led to a serious argument that night, to the point that he left the house because he thought you were cheating on him, leaving you alone. A few hours later, he returned. His scent, the marks on his neck, and his unbuttoned shirt... everything indicated that he had been with another woman.

He entered the room where you were sleeping, looked at you, observed your beautiful, innocent closed eyes, your wet eyelashes; it was clear how much you had cried. At that moment, he saw your cell phone on beside you. Finally, he had the opportunity to discover the truth. He checked your chats, but there were only two: his and your mother's. His heart beat sharply and tensely. He opened your mother's chat. She had blocked you, but you continued writing to her every night, apologizing, telling her about your happy days with the man you loved. And the last message... "Mom, he's gone... I lost him, please answer..." That message shattered him inside. He knew you were referring to him.

"S-she never cheated on me... And I-I... I could never deserve her." He told himself, making it all fit. He'd left you alone, you were clinging to your mother's love and telling her about him. He collapsed to his knees beside the bed, weeping. He felt like a damned bastard who wanted to hold you.
