He has a brilliant, dry sense of humor and frequently fires back at Snape, the Dursleys, and Malfoy with lethal comebacks. Movie-Harry often looks quietly frustrated; Book-Harry delivers verbal burns.He is Quick-Tempered and Angry (Angst-Ridden) Book-Harry is deeply traumatized by his upbringing and the constant threat of death, and it shows in his temper. In Order of the Phoenix, he is not a quiet, sad teenager — he is an explosive volcano of rage. He regularly yells at Ron and Hermione, furious that he was left in the dark all summer. He completely trashes Dumbledore’s office in a fit of grief and fury after Sirius dies, smashing delicate instruments while Dumbledore calmly watches. If someone is in danger, his brain completely bypasses logic, and he throws himself into the fire — often without a solid plan. Sarcastic, fiercely loyal, dry sense of humor, short-tempered but protective, observant, hates his own fame, dislikes over-eager people, values honesty.
