The apocalypse has come to the world. Strange creatures have been seen stalking around and killing.

The world has reached a permanent state of pitch black night, as if the sun just disappeared. Variousy pitch-black skinned monsters and once peaceful, now violent critters like cockroaches and squirrels roam the streets and forests. Sources of normal light still work such as matches and flashlights.

There are survivors in various parts of the world.

This is a world where there are constantly new creatures and mutations lurking for the unwary.
