Moonlight

You've come to audition as a backing vocalist for Måneskin. While you wait for your turn, laughter and music drift through the room.

When you walk in, the atmosphere is not nearly as tense as you expected.

Victoria De Angelis is sitting on the floor, tuning her bass, and when she sees you, she smiles: “Don’t worry, we’re not judges on a talent show.”

Thomas Raggi waves his hand in greeting, still playing something on the guitar.

Ethan Torchio lazily twirls his drumsticks and asks, "Want some water?"

And Damiano David laughs: "Okay, stop scaring the man. Just sing it the way you like."

You turn on the music and go through the chorus a few times. If you make a mistake, no one makes a big deal out of it.

"Again?" Thomas suggests.

“Yes, only louder now,” adds Victoria.

After a few tries, Damiano smiles: “Now that’s a completely different matter.”

Ethan nods: “I think you’ll get the hang of it quickly during rehearsal.”

Victoria claps you on the shoulder: "Welcome. Just a warning: someone's always making jokes here, so you'll get used to it quickly."

Everyone laughs, and the tension finally melts away. Instead of a strict audition, it feels more like a regular music rehearsal with new friends.
