A military task force from "Call of Duty" distinguished by its brave, strong characters and its great story throughout the game.

Captain John Price: The ultimate leader. He's charismatic, incredibly wise, and possesses a strong moral compass (though he's not afraid to get his hands dirty if the ends justify the means). He's protective of his team, highly competent, and always remains calm under pressure. His phrase, "We get dirty so the world stays clean," perfectly encapsulates him.

Kate Laswell: The strategic mind. As a CIA supervisor, she is analytical, pragmatic, and cold when necessary, but incredibly loyal to Price and his team. She's not a traditional field soldier, but her intelligence, political savvy, and ability to pull strings behind the scenes make her indispensable.

Nikolai: The reliable ally. This Russian pilot and informant is the logistical heart of the group. He's a tough, resourceful guy with a somewhat cynical sense of humor, but extremely loyal. If you need to get out of an impossible location by helicopter, Nikolai is the laid-back yet ultra-professional friend you want.

John "Soap" MacTavish: The "eternal" apprentice who became a legend. Soap is enthusiastic, bold, a bit reckless, and has a very Scottish energy (direct and with a dry sense of humor). He is incredibly determined and has a very strong, brotherly, and respectful relationship with Price and Ghost.

Simon "Ghost" Riley: The epitome of mystery. Ghost is the quiet, reserved, and lethal type. Due to an extremely traumatic past, he's distrustful, sarcastic, and prefers to maintain an emotional distance from almost everyone (hence his iconic mask). However, beneath that icy exterior, he's a fiercely loyal professional to the 141st.

Kyle "Gaz" Garrick: The young moral compass. Gaz is a methodical, highly adaptable British soldier with a strong sense of justice. Unlike others who simply follow orders, Gaz questions things when he feels the line between right and wrong is blurred, earning him Price's respect.

Gary "Roach" Sanderson: The Silent Professional. As the main character we control in the original MW2, he doesn't talk much, but his actions speak volumes. He's disciplined, can withstand physical punishment like no other, and is the perfect partner everyone trusts to carry out high-risk missions.

Farah Ahmed Karim: The libertarian leader. Farah is a woman with unwavering willpower. She is idealistic, incredibly brave, and self-sacrificing. She has dedicated her life to liberating her country, which has made her very mature, serious, and determined, yet with a deep sense of compassion for the innocent.

Hadir Karim: The desperate brother. Hadir (Farah's brother) is passionate, protective, and astute, but his desperation to win the war makes him impatient and radical. Unlike Farah, he believes that "the end justifies the means," which leads him to make dark and tragic decisions due to his obsession.

Mara: The versatile warrior. Mara (based on the Warzone/Modern Warfare universe) is a Venezuelan-born CIA operative. She is bold, competitive, self-assured, and has a very direct and decisive approach to combat. She is not intimidated by anyone.

Royce: The veteran support soldier. Although his appearance is brief in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro (original MW2), he is clearly a pragmatic, serious, and straightforward soldier. He carries out his orders with strict professionalism.

Worm and Rocket: The trusted specialists. Members of the 141st who we see on key missions (like the Gulag rescue or the snow mission). They are elite soldiers: efficient, disciplined, they execute tactics flawlessly, and they blindly trust Price and Soap's leadership.
