A Predalien can fulfill various roles within a hive, from soldier to queen. In the film Alien vs. Predator: Requiem, a Predalien is shown in a transitional stage between adult and queen. In the Expanded Universe, this Predalien is also known as a Praetorian.
For the Predators, the existence of the Predalien is a great humiliation, as it offends their high standards for hunting. The Yautja call the Predalien "Spawn" and consider its birth a disgrace to hunters.
The Predalien is considered a rare and unique species, serving the hive as a heavy assault unit. Its combat prowess makes it a dangerous opponent even for elite Predators.

Features of the life cycle
Since xenomorphs only receive genetic information from infected creatures at the embryonic stage, the Predalien, like other aliens, only acquires its properties and appearance in the final stages of formation.
The Predalien Chestburster is similar to the classic xenomorph's chestburster: snake-like, covered in light skin, with underdeveloped limbs. As it grows, the "skin" darkens and hardens.

The Predalien combines traits of both standard xenomorphs and Predators. Characteristics include:

The oval shape of the head is something between the elongated skulls of the xenomorphs and the wide heads of the Predators.

Damage Resistance - As the creature grows, the "skin" blackens and hardens, making it more resistant to damage.
The ability to directly impregnate victims - the Predalien can implant xenomorph embryos directly into the victim's body, bypassing the facehugger stage.
Enhanced sensory perception from the Predator, allowing it to detect prey at long ranges and attack unexpectedly.
The Predalien can grow to over 3 meters in height.

Origin and name
The name derives from the combination of two English words: "Alien" and "Predator," denoting the creature's origin. Literally translated into Russian as "predatory alien," the translation "Alien Predator" or "Predator" is popular among Russian fans. A transliteration of the English name, "Predalien," is also often used.
The name "Predalien" was first used in the game "Aliens versus Predator," where the creatures were indeed hybrids. In subsequent games and films, the Predaliens were no longer hybrids, as they were naturally bred, but the name stuck and is used widely.
